We the Presentation family imbibed by the Spirit of Nano Nagle commit ourselves to be in communion with God, ourselves, others and cosmos. Following the Mission of Jesus we work towards systemic change in the society.

Mission

As Presentation sisters we dedicate ourselves to bring about social transformation, justice by an integral and holistic approach in and through our life and ministries of education, health and other activities. In these endeavors we pledge to support one another.

WHO WE ARE

We are the Union of the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary called to follow Christ in the spirit of Nano Nagle, bringing the good news to poor by promoting God’s Kingdom of truth and goodness, justice, love and peace.

OBJECTIVES OF OUR SOCIETY:
  • To give value based education, faith formation and life coping skills
  • To have holistic approach in dealing with people and children
  • To Empower Young girls to stand for their rights
  • To make our community a welcoming community
  • To be and to bring good news to the poorest of the poor
  • To listen to the cry of the earth attentively and respond to it
  • To educate all those whom we interact to be eco-friendly
  • Motivate the drop outs and their families in order to complete their studies for a bright future

ACTIVITIES OF OUR SOCIETY

  • Giving awareness on effect of alcohol and treating them to recover from addiction
  • Refuse, Reuse and recycle – as part of our day to day living
  • Disposing our waste –compost pit in our campus
  • Conducting seminars for youth
  • Making use of the land by organic farming, vegetable garden
  • To have common celebrations together with the staff, Friends of Nano, students, supportive staff and all the institutions in the campus
  • To have orientation for the students and staff regularly
  • Training young girls with life coping skills
  • To help 100 poor young girls for professional studies
  • Integration and co-ordination of all our ministries-education, socio pastoral and health
  • Working towards systemic change for the tribal and dalits
  • House visits, BCC and catechism class in the parish
  • Placing our infra structure for the use of the seminars and programs
  • Sharing our chrism with the people who visit us
  • To have awareness on the child rights and put in place child protection policy
  • Planting more rare trees and rain harvesting trees
  • Rain water harvesting
  • Faith formation given to our supportive staff and our school children regularly
